We are delighted to have a full time Home School Liaison Coordinator at our school. Our coordinators name is Ruth O' Connor . Ruth is an experienced primary school teacher who has worked at Castaheany Educate Together School for the last number of years.

Ruth's role as our Home School Community Liaison (HSCL) seeks to promote partnership between parents, teachers and the community. The purpose of this partnership is to enhance pupils’ learning opportunities and to promote their retention in the education system. In addition, the HSCL Scheme places great emphasis on collaboration with the local community.
Ruth co-ordinates a large number of initiatives in the school which promotes parents, teacher and community relationships.
